Civil Engineers/Designers
Responsibilities will
include site/civil, Highway and Roadway design of engineering projects, MicroStation, InRoads and design
study experience, including knowledge with site/civil design software. WisDOT experience is a plus. Position responsibilities will
include overseeing road and bridge projects. Education: Bachelor's degree in
civil engineering or EIT, PE preferred. Experience: Two to five years
in civil design experience.
Structural
Engineer
Performs work of considerable
difficulty in the review of contract documents for overall constructability (to
improve construction bid results, and minimize change orders), compliance with
applicable State and Federal Codes, and completeness with emphasis on
structural systems. Reviews preliminary and final plans and
specifications for two types of reviews: Constructability and Risk Management.
Incumbent will be responsible for communicating verbally and in writing
recommendations for additions, deletions, substitutions, and modifications when
necessary. WisDOT experience is a plus.
Education: Completion of an
undergraduate major in engineering from a four year college or university and
successfully passed the EIT (engineer in training), PE preferred.
Construction Inspector
Observes
work in progress to ensure conformance with specifications. Examines workmanship of finished
installations for conformity to standards. Maintains
daily report of construction inspection activities. Prepares sketches of
construction installations that deviate from plans and incorporates changes
into master plans. Inspects equipment operation and materials
on job site. Interprets specifications as related to
materials and workmanship. WisDOT experience a
plus.
Receives
moderate supervision from senior-level Construction Services staff. May be assigned to work
independently on a project with some complex features.
Education: Bachelor's degree
in construction management or engineering.
Experience: Minimum five
years of relevant progressive experience; or the equivalent gained through
relevant experience.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Job Description
Provide administrative support to Human Resource/Accounting Manager while
working in a fast-paced, quality focused, team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Light bookkeeping as needed
- Schedule, organize and
coordinate meetings
- Manage calendars and
schedules
- Create and edit PowerPoint,
Word, Excel, Publisher documents
- Organize and coordinate work
flow, manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Process expense reports,
timesheets and invoices as needed
- Filing personnel, accounting,
company information both electronically and maintenance of physical files
- Capture meeting minutes
- Work closely with other
Assistants to share information and provide back up support for absences
or spikes in workload
- Compose correspondence from
rough notes or independent knowledge of circumstances
- Help with special projects or
requests such as data collection, report generation, and forms processing
- Organize and maintain files of correspondence, records, etc. following
up on pending matters - Act as a resource for internal requests and
technical functions
- Maintain a high level of
confidentiality when working with sensitive material - General office
duties and miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of seven years
prior administrative experience - Bachelor's Degree required
- Intermediate to advanced
skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe InDesign
- Attentive to details with
strong follow-up skills
